Well it has been quite some time since we have written anything. I know I know..typical. We were really excited about starting a blog! Everyone said whatever you do, stay consistent. We can honestly say we have been very consistent. Wrote 2 blog posts and consistently haven’t been on since. With that said, here is a quick update on what has been going on.

1. Jon turned 25! We stayed at this lovely cabin in Harrisonburg, VA. The people that own it are seriously some of the most hard-working, hospitable people I have ever met. We totally recommend it. Check it out: http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p508554vb.

2. Jon finished Unbroken and is now reading Give Me A Fast Ship, and I am reading The Book Thief.

3. Jon is quite interested in Downton Abbey. I am quite interested in Jon, so I keep watching it with him.

4. We have learned a TON about expectations, projections, and communication. To read more about this check out our post “I Just Thought.”

5. We made a surprise visit to Winston-Salem to wish Mama McCay a Happy Birthday last weekend.

6. Babies! No no no.. not us. But we have started serving in the church nursery. Our first night, we had 8 babies. Thankfully we had some help – three crying babies within the first 10 minutes. The McCays were a sight to see!

8. And last but certainly, certainly not least. NEW MUMFORD ALBUM, WHUAT?!?!
