New Favorites on Our Table this July

My kids start school in less than 3 weeks and honestly I couldn’t be more bummed. We have had a delightful summer for many reasons. Here are a few new things we have tried around our table this summer that will continue to be favorites in our home. Enjoy!

☀️ These summer wraps did not disappoint when we had friends over the other night. The peach vinaigrette was also tasty for dipping.

☀️ You cannot go wrong with this homemade ranch – I appreciate that she tells you how to adjust the thickness for your own liking.

☀️ This peach pie hit the spot.

☀️ We made these with some marinated pork chops and honey butter carrots. They were a fun, different kind of side. We doubled the recipe so we had some for breakfast. To make it more simple I bought these bacon pieces and used honey because I was out of maple. Full disclosure, I often change things up to cut costs or save time, so these recipes would probably be even better if I didn’t make them but I really enjoyed them modified as well.

☀️ I brought this unique smashed Cucumber &Watermelon salad to a family dinner and am eager to make it again.

☀️ My favorite beverage this summer is a thrifted Moscow mule cup filled with ice, 3/4 coconut water 1/4 lemonade from Costco and a lavender clipping from the garden. I have wanted to drink more coconut water for the electrolyte benefits, but I don’t enjoy it. This mocktail does the job and the ratio limits the sugar content (you could even do less lemonade).

Avocado, Cucumber and Grilled Chicken Wraps rolled in clear rice wraps on a white plate. A moscow mule cup filled with ice and a lavender clipping with lemonade mocktail.

Summer life is busy, and I didn’t get many photos, but I have these two.

I have a list of other recipes I am eager to try and will hopefully have another similar post in August with more photos!
